I can't say it enough
This is such an important one. I have to remind myself of it frequently. So often people look to be changed or transformed into something new, something better. I believe there really is no such thing.
Any transformation that occurs in our lives, is due to the fact that the magic was inside us all along. It needs the right circumstances, timing, support, or discovery to be unleashed. It's very courageous to find the parts of yourself you most want to amplify and be brave enough to dive into them and wear them around for all to see.

This gem popped up on my Facebook newsfeed this week: 16 Ways To Feel Better About Your Body
I feel like I'm talking about many of these concepts all week long. So many of these tips are stupid simple- and when I bring them up in session people are like "yeah yeah I know".
That's thing- I know you do know, we all know. And from time to time all of us lose sight of these really simple ideas. When it comes to body image issues we're fighting an uphill battle. It's important to remember that you're not alone, and you have great defenses already within yourself that will help with the body blues.
This blog is less about my writing, and more about sharing inspiration. I'll post pictures, articles, and videos that I find interesting, moving, or just funny (funny being a loose term here as my humor is generally of the nerdy psychoanalytic variety).
