Ever since I learned this phrase in middle school french I've used it pretty regularly. Whenever something doesn't go quite as planned, when I think Really?! I shake it off- "That's life" with a shrug. The french just makes me feel fancy, and it feels easier to move past it somehow. C'est la vie!!!
