ARE YOU DOING IN PERSON SESSIONS? Currently I am doing both telehealth, and in-person sessions. In-person sessions are for those vaccinated individuals who comfortable attending in person. I take precautions by having an air purifier in the office, as well as cleaning between clients, and having hand sanitizer available.
ARE YOU ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS? I am accepting new clients, however my schedule is still relatively full so you would need to have flexible scheduling in order for us to make it work. If we can't find a time that works for both of us I'm happy to offer you a referral to a trusted colleague.
DO YOU TAKE MY INSURANCE? I happily accept Fidelis insurance. Any other insurance I would be an out-of-network provider. In these cases what happens is you would pay out of pocket to me, and then I would provide you an invoice insurance companies require for reimbursement. How much your insurance will reimburse you is entirely determined by the plan you have. Some plans have high out-of-network deductibles and you would have to chip away at that first before they would start paying, and some have great out-of-network coverage and will reimburse 80% of the cost. It really depends on the plan. My suggestion is always to reach out to your insurance carrier and ask about receiving out-of-network psychotherapy from a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (sometimes the specific credentials make a difference).
HOW DO I GET STARTED? Once you feel comfortable enough we schedule an appointment. Then I'll send you an e-mail with a link to my client portal. There you can review and electronically sign all the paperwork ahead of time. There's also a quick questionnaire to fill out that gives me a little background information about you.
